Frozen Yogurt Bars & Berries | Ingredients

Yogurt
This recipe calls for 2 cups of vanilla bean Greek yogurt. You can use whatever yogurt you like to eat: Greek, regular, low fat, or full fat – the choice is yours! If you do use a plain yogurt, you’ll want to mix in an extra teaspoon of vanilla to make sure the bars have good flavor. (I love making my own vanilla extract to make homemade goods taste even better!)
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
Sweetener
2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup or locally sourced honey add just the right amount of sweetness to these yogurt bars. If you’re trying to minimize sugar in your diet, you can absolutely leave them out!
Fruit
Berries are my favorite fruit, so in this recipe we’ll be using strawberries and blueberries. Have some fun experimenting with different fruit combinations based on the fruits that your family loves to eat! This recipe is perfect for picky eaters because you can change up virtually any ingredient in this list.
Additional Toppings
Drizzle with honey, sprinkle some granola, or add some chopped nuts- the possibilities are endless! I’ve made a banana chocolate chip and peanut butter version of this recipe before and it satisfied all of my chocolatey peanut-buttery cravings.
How to Make Frozen Yogurt Bars

Mix the vanilla bean Greek yogurt, sweetener of choice, and vanilla extract in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Cut the strawberries into thin slices. (I like to cut the strawberries into 4 slices lengthwise.)
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and then pour the yogurt mixture on top. Use a spatula to spread the mixture evenly across the baking sheet.

Top with slices of strawberries and blueberries, and then sprinkle with granola or chopped nuts.
Place the baking sheet into the freezer and freeze for 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt is firm.
Cut into squares and enjoy immediately! Store leftovers in the freezer.

Customizations
- Make it Vegan: Use dairy-free yogurt and follow the same instructions above for a vegan version of these frozen yogurt bars!
- Make it Nut Free: Instead of sprinkling with nuts, you can add nut-free granola, sprinkles, or drizzle with honey or maple syrup!
- Change up the Fruit: As I said before, this recipe is incredibly versatile, so feel free to experiment with bananas, berries, kiwi, and other fruits!

Storing your Frozen Yogurt Bars
These bars can be stored in your freezer for a month. I highly doubt you’ll even need to place them back in the freezer before they’re all eaten up!
